I'm not sleeping. Or not much.

It's days now. Nature's Xanax?
I keep adding to the pcardpoesy queue, though. Rate > 1/day.
Sharpie makes a refillable fine point:

This cheapie by Pilot is pretty good, once you get the ink t' flowing, which in my case wasn't easy.

Something about lack of sleep. What. Hmm. I wrote a villanelle in college called "Insomnia." Right now I recall only "The night and I suspend ourselves along" and that it ended with "dawn" which it took to rhyme with "along" I think only I don't really remember that part for sure.

Date: Mar. 5th, 2014 06:55 pm (UTC)One of the few items on my creative bucket list is to write a villanelle. In some ways I know that's absurd, as I could just force myself to sit down and write an absolutely awful one to the rules and technically be done with it, but there's a point of pride in writing one worth sharing. Somehow I need to get to point A, though, in order to practice and proceed and go from there as if this is just a thing that people can do, not just Dylan Thomas and Sylvia Plath. This helps. Thank you.
