I left my pocket computer at home today.

Last night (early this morning, actually) I had to charge it back to life before it could be set to be my alarm clock, much needed, with only about 6 hours of sleep possible.  That made me realize how long it's been since I used the clock clock as an alarm.  As I struggled to stay awake those x minutes it took to Show Me The Apple, I stared sleepily at the screen of my flashlight, compass, atlas, arcade, mailbox, typewriter, calendar, level, telegraph, walkie-talkie, utility belt and drug, ticking off in my head examples like those of what all the little box is, does.  Jet pack, schmet pack:  I'm happy to have this toy instead.
