Oh, damn. I read #9 as another NOT question, so picked the thing I knew you wouldn't describe yourself as! Oh well. I still just barely know ye. But to know ye is to like ye.

*buffs nails on shirt and blows on them* 80. That I missed two, though, is rather embarrassing.

I suppose my knowing you fer 20+ years (geez, it's, like, more'n 24 now) gives you a leg up, huh.

I think H. may be the only one who's have a chance to do as well as you, and, to tell you the truth, she probably wouldn't.

*holds hand up in air to give you congratulatory High 5* (don't leave me hangin'!)

*high 5s you back*!

Yeah, that 24+ year thing probably was a factor. Hey, this Q thing I'm putting together is coming out pretty well. Might you like a copy to replace the old and long-missing cassettes?

Boy would I like a copy!

You know what else? I think maybe we ought to start thinking now about a We've-Known-Each-Other-25-Years-Now party. Talk about yer queer anniversaries. If we celebrate something like that, not only could it endanger the sanctity of heterosexual marriage (it's very fragile, I hear)---it might set a bad example for youth and give the impression that sometimes-bizarro friendships like ours are to be honored in this culture!

So. What are you doing, late August/early September of next year?

Will do. It looks like one volume at a time, though. Our turntable started acting up about 1/4 through the second disc. ARGH! That'll just make the fun last longer, right?

Ooh, I like the idea for the party. 25 years, what an amazing thought! At this point my calendar for late August/early September next year is clear. What kind of party should it be?

Will have to think about that!

Good luck with the t-table.

Either that or you're psychically in tune with me.

Or both!

I'm thinking [livejournal.com profile] vjsmom, whom I've known for something like 26 years, may have a good shot...
