Was just thinking how Denise would never say not only "I'm sorry" but "Thank you" too. I had a sense for her hesitation on the first, but could never figure why one would be superstingy with the second.

And now I'm thinking how flat-out stupid it strikes me that Clancy's Fancy Hot Sauce is extending its deepest hotsauce condolences to those affected by the euphemism at hand for people being blown up and partially blown up.

Though I care deeply about the and those and tragic events, I'm kind of along the lines of staying out of it so to speak. I saw Clancy's post too and thought it was odd.

I find myself over apologizing and over thanking. With M, the no "I'm sorry" was a complaint of hers early on, which I took to heart and was very sure to say it whether I needed to or not. And funny thing, even though I took it to heart to do it, I knew her initial complaint wasn't even true.
