I heard a guy on the radio yesterday or the day before saying that it's the other side of Christianity that needs to organize. Something about the many Christians who have moral values like peace over war, respect for the planet, actual compassion (translates into all kinds of public policy things---universal health care, greater economic justice, etc.) have the potential to get it together and become the majority of churchy-types. Actually holier-than-thou next to the fundies, vs. taking a hateful stance of holier-than-thou-ness(-itude).
