I've gotten sucked into the jigsaw puzzle at work the past coupla days.  An absorbing pointless thing, putting together jigsaw puzzles.

I used to love jigsaw puzzles. I did them for long enough at a time that when I got up and closed my eyes, everything was puzzle pieces for a while.

I was just thinking how, recently, after playing Risk on the computer before bed I'd see territories trying to conquer territories inside my eyelids while drifting off. That didn't seem good.

Jigsaws much better, methinks. Unless, say, of Guernica.

I enjoy jigsaws puzzles because I like taking chaos and turning it into order, and then I like the zen of turning it back into chaos again.
