It was a good time, though. Them women I was there with are great just to be around. (Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] lovelikeyeast for thinking of me.)

Aw, you were a real pro out there on the floor. A natural! It is so wrong that you not only didn't win, but that those curmudgeonly neighbors won *twice* (even if they did spend thousands of dollars).

If only we'd have thought to bring a hideous-looking good luck charm, things might have ended up different. Or had we just... taken them down.
