Whoa. I never thought about 42 that way before. After I scoop my brains back into my head, I'm gonna think about it some more. :-)

And the funny thing is, when asked Adams always said he just picked it out of the air. I like how it spells ha on the phone. All part of the great cosmic joke!

Yep, this is a song. No question. We gotta do it. I'm imagining kind of a bluesy talky thing. Say "It's a composite natural number, bracketed by a twin prime, whose factorization makes it a sphenic number. Yeah." in kind of a blues drawl.
