kewl artist/illustrator dude

Saw this link to a particular pen-related spot in the archives of Danny Gregory's blog, "Everyday Matters," over on the ArborBlogs feed. Check him out, if you've got a good connection or a few minutes for it to load by dial-up.

His books look pretty groovy, too---particularly the forthcoming Change Your Underwear Twice a Week: Lessons from the Golden Age of Classroom Filmstrip.

That is cool, [livejournal.com profile] fflo. Thanks for posting it. I was pleased to see all the responses to his remark about there not being any protest songs out there yet. The one thing no one mentioned is the Rock Against Bush cd. It's #6 on www.cmj.com's Top 20 this week. (That's who we send out charts to) There's some good stuff on it.

I love the drawings of all his pens, too.

Just checked out his books (see his blog) & added a link.

[livejournal.com profile] upsidedownblue was just telling me (before the green sky had us all heading for the first floor) about Bush's burning through the war chest. There are reasons to be hopeful.

A book on filmstrips? Very cool! I have a filmstrip reader, you know.

And things do look a bit hopeful, but it's a long way to November.

Oooh, you do? You should eBay some filmstrips & have a party.

It's been in the back of mind for years as something else to collect, but there's that money thing, you know. Some day!
