The main thing on my mind this morning is dog poop. The dog and her on-again-off-again not-too-solid poop. I know she ate a 3-inch long hunk of rawhide two days ago; I thought I'd grabbed up all the little remnants from her earlier chews, but I saw her delighting in finding that one, and then, seconds later, swallowing it with a big "gulp!"  (Imagine if she'd swallowed it with a Big Gulp®.)

So my thought is to try to keep strong controls on her intake for a few days, plus do the pumpkin-and-sometimes-pepto-and/or-yogurt treatment, but consider taking her to the vet if it doesn't clear up consistently soon.  It's been over a week, the on-again-off-again.

I suppose, yes, my sense of dwindled audience here is probably partly responsible for me feeling okay just typing about dog poop and posting it.  Unwise to be boring and poopy if I don't want to alienate those of you who remain, but, heck, you've had some serious stick-to-it-tive-ness already.  And you put up with hyper-hyphenation and stream of consciousness and lord knows what-all.

Since I made anonymous comments get screened, the spambot stuff hasn't been appearing, but I do see its attempts.  Somehow that's part of why I set up the dreamwidth journal.  Don't know if I'll start posting over there & mirroring here, as folks do.  Don't know.  Feel a bit disconnected in this venue, despite a little charge of renewal recently as I have met [livejournal.com profile] custardfairy and started reading her.

Nonetheless here I am posting, cuz I haven't in a while.
