Tonight we play Home of New Vision.

Historically it's been fun when we play them. When I found out that this season's interleague play meant we'd only play each team once, I was most bummed that we wouldn't play the Homers twice.

Sometimes it seems like quite a shame I wasn't playing softball when I was younger. Between age 10 and age 45, say.

But that's no kind of thinking to think too too.

We lost, but 12-11. And rallied to tied it at 11 and force the bottom half of that last inning, while the teams waiting to take the field next stood around watching.

I fringed my sleeves. Tricia had fringed the bottom of her shirt last week. She wasn't there last night for us to be fringe sisters, but I reckon that'll happen sometime.

The season feels as if it's winding down already, though. And we have next week off.
