Tim Robbins' speech at the Nat'l Press Club

Of course the celebrity-bashing Fox News types have this soon-to-be-old-chestnut idea that people famous for anything in the arts shouldn't express political opinions (unless they're, say, Reagan or Charlton Heston), and of course that's utter bullshit. It's particularly nice when the celebrities in question express themselves well.

I tell ya, that Sarandon-Robbins couple is like both the TV and the movie Addams Family parents in that it that makes me feel a much more balanced bisexual than I am in real life.

first of all, tim robbins is such a yummy yummy man. and even though i have to say i'm not so keen on the blond highlights, his eloquence and courage make up for a whole lot of bad hair days. thanks for the post!
