new hammer

ffloBack in the '80s or so somebody who was trying to calm somebody who was freaked out about using a computer told that person it's just a tool. It's like a hammer---a sophisticated hammer. I picked this idea up from that somebody, whoever it was.
I've unpacked & plugged in my new hammer, and am going about addressing a few nails with it, just to try it out.
So far, so smooth. Well, after my half hour on the phone with the Scottish Andy, at Comcast, whose favorite Bill Forsythe movie is "the one set way up north---what's that one called?"
I'd post a poem for the occasion of the new computer, but the one I think of is "she being Brand/-new...," and I don't want to go there with it.
