It is a shame that things have gotten so bad here in America that even Bowling Balls are being forced out onto the streets. Bless you for taking one in and giving it a good home. Perhaps you will be able to help it get rolling again.

Cool. Do your fingers fit the holes?

more or less. the thumb hole could be just a tad closer to the finger holes, but it's much better than the house balls.

you remind me, i was gonna try to hit the ReUse Center today to see if they have a better fitting one. if so, give 'em mine & buy that one; if not, see about finding a Lustre King (the machine at bowling alleys that polishes balls).

but there's also this anti-Prop-8 protest downtown in a coupla hours. in the cold rain. after the football game lets out. the call of duty, sort of. plus there will be many queers there...

You can have the finger holes plugged and recut to fit your hand and any bowling alley that has a pro shop. My cousin once gave me a old bowling ball of his that I did that with at the K-State Union. I think they just redid the thumb hole and not the fingers if I remember right. The cost wasn't much - but that was probably in 1994 so who knows now. How many pounds is it, you think? I usually bowl with a 12lber.
