Did you see Google has its 2001 index available today, as part of its anniversary celebration?

Maybe the most share-worthy of my experiments so far: "fat activism" then got 158 hits, vs. 7860 now; "fat acceptance" has gone from 7,960 to 2,130,000.

What else to try... Got any good ones, anybody?

The #1 hit for "American idol" in 2001 was a page about Red Green.

"Sarah Palin": zero hits.

I did a vanity search. There were a lot of hits, all about rocketry. I tried a vanity search combined with the word music. In every case the music had nothing to do with me. With dulcimer--Absolutely no hits in 2001.

did a search for myself, and old results i remember from way back come up, but then the original sites are no more. interesting.
