Live from Lake Way-No-Ka
Dec. 25th, 2003 04:27 pmI'm here at Holly's mother's compound on Christmas Day. The place has expanded since last I saw it. Not too bad, so far, really. Some fun with the kids, too. I think the two Shih-Tzus may be spurring this chronic watery eyes 'n' tingly sinusses thing, but I'm not sure. (They're nice and all, but [sorry, Bob, and dead Primo] it's not the breed for me.)
The Pam Dawber performed fine on the way down. We've now put over 400 miles on it. Woo-hoo!
I could tell you about the surreal church-like service last night as we arrived or the story H.'s mom has told twice so far (about the short guy who danced with her on karaoke night with his face RIGHT HERE, right between her BREASTS, just like THIS), but let's just say it's been fine so far.
