Going to the Tigers game with officemates this afternoon. Gonna be hot & sunny in the upper deck, then maybe thunderstorm 'round about the 8th inning. This morning I was thinking, "What was I thinking?!?" But now that it's almost time to get behind the wheel of the 15-person van, I'm kinda getting into it. Bring on the sunpoisoning! I'm gonna see Pudge!

Date: Jun. 12th, 2008 08:50 pm (UTC)It's kinda funny you're doing that today 'cuz tomorrow night, we're going to the O's game. We just bought "bleacher" tickets on a whim. It's a 1970s throwback night, and there's a tribute to Earl Weaver and the '79 (I think that was the year) AL championship team. They're playing the Pirates for the first time since that World Series. And there are fireworks after the game.
