Not too dizzying, somehow. And I'm hungover. Or could that be why?

"I Obtain, You Obtain, We All Obtain in Imbricating Ossification": Studies in Sentences I Understand a Little Better Than Some of These Other Sentences I've Been Reading, Though Not All, and It Can Take A While

Did pretty well, if I do say so myself, in staying in the flow of today's various reading. My relationship to its intensities has not displeased me.

I may try to have a day with no reading soon. Maybe even a weekday.

I wonder when was the last day I read no words whatsoever.

I wonder how few days there have been in these past few years on which I have read no words whatsoever, or even very few. Words.

Oh, the casuistry*!

Wow. That's a fascinating question. I can't imaging going a day outside my house without seeing a sign, or inside without seeing the spine of a book or a label on food.

There must have been an age when I couldn't read, but didn't automatically unconcsiously read and word that passed before my eyes.

I'm going to guess it's been 40 years since I went a day without reading a single word.

For me to do it now, without being blind or blindfolded would be an incredible challenge. I'm not sure I could do it.
