the Fool, the Devil, and the Star

What are they called---major arcana? They're my right-now three, those three. And there are inverted swords in the offing.

Mental balance is key. It is suggested that I lack confidence in it, but I have what it takes to get through.

chaos fool   chaos devil   chaos star

[livejournal.com profile] sprig5 wants to hear about dyke drama. I don't have dish, though. To dish. Dish to dish. Ashes to ashes, dish to dish.

When you keep finding yourself ending up in this area of your brain, might say the voice of another system of divination, there may be something being neglected in the others.

My preferred tarot is dirty tarot, where you can get roller skates and bathtubs.

I rather liked that Peanuts tarot (banned a few years ago). (Chas Schultz is dead---we should have at it! 'sides, it wasn't for $$.)

That dirty one: looks excellent.

I was just looking at some of the Motherpeace cards online. My ex- Denise had that deck, as did my former acquaintance now known as [livejournal.com profile] groovesinorbit. The roundness was an interesting idea, and made for a nice take on what was inverted & what wasn't, I rather thought. Degrees and gradations and direction of tilt---it added an element, fer sure. But the drawings, so distinctive, sort of remind me of the awkward teen years of whatever wave of feminism that was. 2nd, I think. You know, w/e.

Dori Midnight has a bit of a Roz Chast thing going.

::nods:: I have a "normal"ish deck, too. But there's something nice about not having to learn/look up what exactly each thing means, and to ride with the associations straight out.

I do like the gradiations round cards would give you, though.

Nice Mandelbrots you got there.

Can't look at 'em anymore without thinking of that Jonathan Coulton song.
