I'm pretty sure this movie Broken English I'm watching was recommended by scrawlspace. Anyway, it's good so far. When the protagonist had an anxiety attack, though, it was so convincing it almost gave me one.

I must say it: Gena Rowlands is sexy. She's the protagonist's mother. Only a couple of scenes so far, and she may not be back. Parker Posey is in Paris, see. Alliteratively enough.

I like your icon too. Considering the absurdity of our political culture, and the seeming futility of citizen action, I think it should be the new wave of dissent. Could you get the ball rolling while I listen to music, blog, and watch crap on TV?

that's a deal. if you don't mind the ball rolling kinda slowly, sporadically.

i realized the other day i've been forgetting to watch my story. does that work in the singular? like my grandmother's "stories" (soaps)? i hustled (mainlining DVDs) to catch up on "House" before the season started (which, lemme tellya, can be a lot to take, spiritually), then caught the season opener only cuz Bert happened to mention it, and haven't remembered since.

i should probably be delighted, since i was once a TV addict. but i guess i still have enough of a "problem" not to want to casually dip in and see what's up with the doc, episodes out of order.
