Yes, I can now play the game of the locals (and some northern Ohio-ans). Will it open up new social circles to me? I dunno. Will I come to play it with the football-rooting type of competitiveness cum hockey speed? Perhaps. Is it hard to keep Annette from stealing your deal when you're being plied with various intoxicants? Yes.

Stealing the deal is so last-week... never needed to do it, because I win at euchre regardless. I even have friends who won't play with me anymore, because I always come out ahead. It's a dharma thing... comes from all those times I helped friends move. I also can locate street parking within half a block of any place in Ann Arbor that I want to visit, even on football Saturdays.
