Yes, I can now play the game of the locals (and some northern Ohio-ans). Will it open up new social circles to me? I dunno. Will I come to play it with the football-rooting type of competitiveness cum hockey speed? Perhaps. Is it hard to keep Annette from stealing your deal when you're being plied with various intoxicants? Yes.

Sounds like you had some fun. I've never played euchre, myself. But then, I'm not from Michigan. Love to learn new games, though. : )
