now all are adopted & taken away

photo retrospective to come, perhaps.

tonight i can't seem to shake a headache i've been fighting all day. bones in head ache. jaws, cheeks. eyeballs too. sore neck. nauseous. it's not the worst ever, but it's certainly not lovely.

and there are the lingering visuals of those cat carriers making their ways away from this house.

can't decide which intervention to try. for the headache. if i can feel the other stuff some, now and soon, more power to me on that. right?

Right.

I know you're sad to see the kittens go. But at least Manfred Mann is staying with you. And you know that the others went o good homes where they'll be loved. I'm glad that the Runt got to go to the same place with Blackie. Jeff was sad yesterday that he didn't get to adopt the Runt himself, but he cheered up when I told him that you kept Manny. Or Hambone. or whatever.

you've been a good mom to the kittens. those people don't realize how
well you've raised them. kudos to you! i'm sure it's sad they are gone,
but it was VERY honorable! yeah FFLO! so, 2 went together!? awesome....

call for a massage! or, maybe a romp at the AAAF's would help?!

I didn't even meet the kitties and now they're gone. Sorry to be so lamely self-absorbed, and sorry you're feeling the pangs of their departure. A cyberfriend does the equivalent for human infants (she's a foster mom specializing in caring for infants while a suitable permanent home is found). She goes into a very dark place after parting, especially when the fostering has been longer term. I don't know how she does it! She's in her fifties and has grown children already but misses having babies. She's become the go-to foster parent in her area. Her grown daughter adopted one of the children she was fostering, the whole family loved her so much. I guess it is a comfort to have chosen one little fella, and also to know that the others have gone to permanent homes.

b'lieve it or not, i've considered the idea of foster parenting. have i told you that? seems pretty whack. just cuz i have another room. i mean, you don't even get to name them...

anyway thanks for the thoughts. and you can still meet mani schewitz sometime! he's a nice kitty. he would not be mean to kids.
