I consider myself more of a hobbit in real life, minus the furry feet. Love of comfort, good food, brightly colored clothes. Oh, and the short thing.

Only problem is a round door in this Earth would be an architectural nightmare. I was majorly disappointed when I discovered this.

It'd be a lot easier if it opened hatch-like, with a hinge at the middle of the top. As 'tis, gravity would do a number on the connection pretty quick, I'd think.
