I vaguely remember some psychological theory that said most the troubles in life were due to the trauma of physically being born. Seems like there was some hypnosis involved to make you regress to the memory of the point of being born to enable you to overcome the terror and pain of being squeezed like toothpaste out of a nice comfy warm and secure uterus into the cold bright and loud world. That's why you cry immediately upon being born of course.
Anyway, not that I buy that theory, but it kind of sez that we're ALL born uptight.
I imagine being born is similar to the "Shit, I have to get out of bed!" feeling ya get when the alarm goes off and it's time to go to work, only way more intense.
