oh, nowhere in particular. away from there; done with office. to other (and) "real" world.
specifically, as it turned out, the Flim Flam, and then (Pinball) Pete's, and then (Mr.) Spot's. no drinking those. so i guess, by the recent pattern, i'm due to intoxicate (with alcohol) tonight.
i don't seem to be a person who actually GOES anywhere any more.
though i was thinking last night of chicago. maybe a cubs game. never been to wrigley. don't know if i have any (even moderately) passionate baseball friends any more, at least around here.
what you up to?
dealing with bills and money has taken me much longer today than usual. ugh. online for that, actually, and to check library account.
both cats are a-snoozing nearby. one of 'em snoring, and i can't quite catch which. pliny the younger, i think.
just started to re-do comment (as you may've noticed) to fix typo & mention company last night. she & i were laughing at how townies, when you mention south u, will often say "oh, yeah---haven't been there in years" --- even (or "esp. of course"?) the ones who studied at the u in earlier life.
19, or thereabouts, wouldn't be so bad, i think sometimes. but only in a specific and limited respect. :o
and, hey--- you DO understand the first thing (or three or four) about baseball--- it's just that they're fflo-noted things, customized for you, about things like mowing the infield in concentric circles vs. crosshatch, and how you can guess which players might be fucking which by watching where they sit in the dugout. (okay, that was only the one player the ex- called it about, but still.)
i'm up to being disciplined! i returned all six movies i had renewed 12 times, without seeing any, and now i don't think i'll be doing much more than the chapter, which is excellent. stuff's gotta move :).
turns out i'll be going to edmonton, may 4-6. never been, so it's kinda nice, and not too long. hopefully it won't be freezing any longer by then.
hey, good on you. i never did manage to review my taxes this afternoon. did run out to get to the library to pick up hold items before they locked up---and had another pleasant librarian encounter. i don't have a regular barista or anything, after all; these are the counter women for me.
pondering vacuuming now. good for you, O--- with the discipline. me, i'm pretty much in for the night, i figure. aim to rally for a couple more industrious TCB chore things, then commence goofin' off. maybe read some.
might even set up the vibes. oh--- records. play & record records.
sounds like you've had a fairly productive day... if saturday-paced at that. it is nice to take it easy. i'm doing the discipline because i think it's better for me in the long run: i'll feel better about getting things done, and i'm obviously not dying to do these other things, and i'm hoping to get a lot of stuff done before i leave (may 31).
edmonton, alberta is where a conference is. canadia...

Re: (anticlimax)
i'm not passionate about baseball (would have to understand the first thing about it to develop an affect), but i do like chicago.
