I think I have. Of a sudden. Thanks to this online radio thingie putting her in my ears, reminding me of why we were together to begin with.

I may not get with her again, with who she's being now. Don't know. Might consider it. But, anyway, I'll take her back now. The her of what we had once.

And I thought I'd be a hard-ass with her forever.

What's next: Joan Armatrading? Joan and I had reached an understanding. But I might even let her in again, a little more.

Ani can fuck whomever. Ani can embrace full heterosexual privilege. Whatever. I'm not unsympathetic to---and have felt---the betrayal-like sense of that thing I've been "guilty" of myself, but really of course, as we all know, to claim the right to "be" queer, by choice or otherwise, you can't object to the right not to be.

What's kept me from getting with that old fling again is the same thing that came between me and Joan, only moreso.
