Film Fest week starts tomorrow

I may actually buy the whole-fest pass, for the first time. Partly so I'll go more, partly to support their saying no to censorship.

It's online at their site---just a pain in the ass this year to navigate. I'm trying to cut them slack on the lousy website design. Interactive calendar---ugg! I don't even bother to try reading it at home on dial-up. Kinda figuring I'll get the print edition tonight at the opener & go from there... cuz I've decided (after paying the bills) that there's no way I should get the full fest pass. So $12 tonight and we'll go from there (most shows I think are $8).

Oh yeah. Opening night is good. There's a reception thingie beforehand---Los Gatos playing, food, and a bar (cash bar, I reckon). Starts at 7. They just added a blurb about it on the main page: http://www.aafilmfest.org/
