Like any of these?

(a)green window

(b)nice blue

(c)orange swirly

(d)green #2

(e)serious black

(f)too fancy

Me, I don't much like the last two (actively dislike the last). Like the first 3 best.

Did I miss a post explaining this sudden interest in fancy fountain pens? I'm curious about the inspiration for these posts.

fflo-- is this just part of the decades (life?) -long office supplies fetish you've had? Or is this something different? I'm not into any of 'em, because, since they're all too think for me to comfotably use (or at least look like it in the pictures), I can't get interested.

Maybe it has something to do with the article I just happened to read in the February Ann Arbor Observer last night, about fountain pen collecting.

I like fountain pens in particular. Don't think of them as an office supply per se. Also, S, they're not all so thick. (b) and (d) above, in particular, have a thinner barrel than many.

Does barrell have 2 Ls?

I think I saw that article, Peter. Didn't read it through.

That nice fountain pens get so ridiculously dear and involved rich people throwing around money you could feel families with for many a moon is the fly in the ointment of my love for them. With these posts, I think I'm just wondering who likes such pens at all, and which of 'em people like.

I remember playing with regular Bic ballpoints as rocketships.

And vacuum tubes, too.

My brother and I would put ballpoint pens in our paper airplanes, which would drop the payload mid-flight. Ah, childhood bombing fantasies--- didn't we all have those?
