Had a coupla things I thought I might post, but a sense of urgency about getting about the rest of my errands---including zipping back home for the DVD I didn't manage to bring with me & returning with it here to the library---is beginning to well up in my innards. It's a little icy out there today, but the word is that sleet, snow & freezing rain will get goin' good tonight, continuing off and on all night and into tomorrow, and I still have to hit the grocer's, sad to say. Wanna get gas, too. Hit the gym. Maybe buy windshield wipers.

Could be fun to be snowed in on MLK Day. But first I've got to act the mid-Atlantic idiot and rush off to buy bread & milk & some stuff to cook. (At least I have no toilet paper panic.)

Maybe I'll be lucky and the natives won't be stocking up en masse.

::grin:: As I was reading along my brain went, "but you forgot toilet paper!"

I do generally manage to resist the urge to buy the triumverate, unless I actually *need* said item.

If we lived in an age of teleportation, I would gladly beam you over some toilet paper. Bev's family apparently experienced a storm once in which they ran out, so we are always insanely well-stocked in that regard. I would wager we have no fewer than 100 rolls in our house right now. (And probably 60 rolls of paper towels.)

Bev has a thing for paper products, God love 'er.

Nothing at all wrong with stocking up before a snowstorm or ice storm. I wish I'd stocked up on more things before this damned ice paralyzed Lubbock, and then I wouldn't be depending on the 7-11 around the corner, quite so much.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that they still had a loaf of wheat bread when I went there, just a little while ago.
