I hear it's gonna rain. Maybe for days. What will it do?

What will it do in the yard?

What will it do in my heart?

What will it do to my face, and to the spring in my step, which, despite moving my muscles to soreness most days & waking up stiff, is doggoned springy?

Maybe it won't do much to the heart, the face, the spring. Maybe it will only make the outsides wet.

Such a mystery it is to me, what I feel and when and why and for how long and whether trustworthy and what of it.

i think it is going to be loud for a while, and then not as much, and it will be good for naps. it's the spring kind of rain, finally.

OK, silly question. What are those oddly-shaped variously colored objects in your current userpic? Would I be correct in believing they are food items in a takeout box? What is their special significance that makes them part of your online identity?

It's dessert! At the tapas place on Main---Rush St. Part of a series of 8 photographs by squirrelykat---1 savory & 1 sweet for each of the 4 people in my party. When I had houseguests last fall.

The brown stuff is chocolate something---mousse, silk, I dunno. The white stuff that's not the plate is a cream. The yellow is cut up fruit---and I think there was kiwi in there, too. The red is a drizzle of some edible decorative goo---maybe a raspberry thing.

I just like that the picture has me appreciating this thing. And I did. I was quite ready to try it, as I recall. And that was the second round in the meal, so I was feeling good. (Had had a fancy martini or two, too, I believe, by then.)

I've been enjoying life lately, so the picture seems appropos!
