the hippie lake
Wanna tell you about the hippie lake and going back there this year, and now wanting to go back there all the time.
Stymied by plans for stoop shore-up; can't be hiring any more pros, and not sure what to do. So blew it off and had an adventure yesterday. Good weather for outdoor project is also good weather for adventure. Toledo for batting cages; Adrian for Spotted Cow; the hippie lake.
Just being able to go outside in short sleeves and no socks, and the wildfire smoke (we will apparently have every summer now) diminished to the mere-yellow level, and sometimes the lower end of that, and seeing it even dip into the green/fine once: yes, please. Easy to appreciate these elements of the moment.
