That's too bad. You'd think someone - Laura or maybe Barney and Mrs. Beasley - would be getting some?

White House Xmas Video

Not sure who MRS Beasley is married to. I think Barney is her brother.

Did you catch any of the White House Xmas (Holiday or whatever)video this year? It centered around Barney being pissed that Mrs Beasley was getting more presents than him. Barney took them out from under the tree and hid them. Dubya had to sit them down in the Oval Office and talk about the situation. He told them to share, etc....

I didn't even know the White House does an annual holiday video. Nor that there is a first pet called Mrs. Beasley. Obviously I'm behind the times in my current affairs.

Is Dubya smart enough to talk to a dog, at least? I suppose the fact that they can't/don't reply works well for someone like our putative prez.

Seriously--who does that to a puppy? (the name, I mean)

Family Affair

I think Mrs Beasley might be the name of Buffy's doll on that old TV show "Family Affair", but I like your explanation better

You're right about the doll, but the genitalia explanation is much more fun.

I love the caption--it made me laugh aloud.

That was my favorite part, too. There's something of a matter-of-fact straightforwardness when an interbody activity that is verboten is described in simple physiological terms that pretty much automatically stands in contrast, by that sheer simplicity, to the great size of scandalousness the puritanical attach to it.
