Ah, well. I'm only workin' a little tomorrow. And the night is still young-ish. And the laundry's almost finished. And it ain't gonna be perfect, but they really won't care.

But I guess it'd be nice if they can get to their sleeping spots without climbing over stuff...

I do love having folks over. Wonder if I might be able to finagle Miami some time in '06, like when it's about-had-enough-of-this time in late winter. (It's snowing today, for the first time this year. 1--3 inches expected.)

Well, hello there! I just googled you not so long ago, wondering what you were up to. (You're pretty googlable.) The (curiously retro/timeless) photo I love of you & woman & new baby comes up on my screensaver slide show at work once in a while, as do another coupla shots of you, making me all sentimental about ya.

google is funny that way. i kind of don't like having so many references to my name on the netter. I need to just start going by aliases online or something...

I just wanted to poke in and say hi. I think of you often and wish i'd been better and keeping in touch over the last 5 years. thanksgiving was a reminder though. i hope that yours was good.

are you still at the same e-mail address? i am at home for the day because Alice is sick and mom couldn't take the day off. so, a day of pbs children's programming and studying for law school finals. have a nice day, lisa

Yep, I'm at the same e-mail. I have my ups and downs at being in touch with folks, too---but life is long, knock on somethin', so to my mind it's wisest, in order to be ready for the joys of reconnection when it happens, not to worry too much about some imaginary logbook of infractions of negligence.

She's old enough to understand television? Remarkable. Hope she feels better soon.

Law school very cool, btw, M. E- me about your aspirations in that regard, and how it is being a dad?
