an old-school LJ year-in-review thing
Anybody remember when you'd go back to the previous year's posts and make a post out of the first sentence of each of those? Here's a round-up on my 2022 that way. Had to fish a little, since it's almost all just postcards I post now. Also I notice was still doing Bow Tie Tuesday at the beginning of last year, and writing an entry along with those, as a way of keeping my hand in with posting some words, if only once a week.
I made several pans of cinnamon rolls, a la my mom, and delivered all but one of them to households around the area.
'Sbeen a busy week.
Sometimes I wonder whether people will think that I wear this tie to support or affiliate myself with the local university.
You know, somehow the work connection to the bow ties got too prominent.
[nothing like one kind of work when you're avoiding another]
Gee, doing the payroll and several other things looked good this noon.
Just after I crossed the bridge into Canada, while I was waiting in line to check in to Canada, my coolant-too-hot light came on, followed shortly by the dreaded "service engine" light.
Perhaps if I get it together we'll have a "generic" postcard week.
[finished principal shooting today]
It was really hot out, but I thought it'd be raining all day the next few days, and even if I'd known the rain would be skirting us most of today, it's bloody hot today too.
[Of all the questions I'd ask my dead mother if she were not dead, ....]
... it seems that several of them are mundane things, like "Did we really keep [name of certain rarely used thing] in the refrigerator [or cabinet] for years, or did we use them up faster than I realized?"
Today, after just 44 minutes on the phone with the customer service person, Sprint/T-Mobile figured out that I had indeed sent them my old phone last month, having spent over 12 hours on the phone and another I-dunno-how-many in online chat, at various intervals from March through August, trying to get the return kit sent to me.
[This has been the best Fall.]
I truly can't remember a better autumn in my life.
Today I'm going to show you some cards of Eugene, Oregon.
I reckon that did work a lot better back when I wrote lots of entry-entires.
But I've hit on the idea that I should gather up those Eugene cards and send them to LA & L.

no subject
But yes, I remember doing these.
