There was a cartoon version of this aired every Christmas in the UK during the 1980s. Strangely, it was introduced by David Bowie. The music instantly takes me back to my childhood:

Cool! I just liked the illustration. And the font.
I want to say "snowman" like Bowie does. Slight accent on snow, schwa in the m-n.
That IS a great soundtrack. Bookmarking for full watch later.
