amw shared in comments here a blog post with a bunch of early yesterday's-tomorrow postcards, and I thought I'd share some here now. This first one is a pretty straightforward office vision:
And there's one there that is a bit of a head-scratcher, in that there doesn't seem to be much new about the theatrical exposition of a curiosity, or about the curosity shown here:
I think I'm guilty of what might seem like a sort of e-z know-it-all-ism in that it's the wrong guesses that I like the most. I also like the underwater ones a lot, and the two come together with this vision of a cooperative/tamed beast-of-burden undersea creature
as well as with the thank-goodness-no vision that women would still be wearing dresses in an undersea future, whether needing rescue from men there or not:
