One more calendar card to wrap up Calendar Week here at PotD.

Was just thinking how, for a stretch there, I was using Bow Tie Tuesday as a place to post a journal-like entry here at least once a week, as a sort of touching-base practice more than a nod to the LJ past.  But then I stopped with the Tuesday bow ties.  Maybe when we went to more remote work during summer "experiments".  And once you're out of the habit of something like writing a little about yer life in some throwback place like this, it becomes the sort of thing I see others (who've "posted for the first time in x months") sometimes doing:  needing to warm up, or not knowing where to start, or feeling like you oughta say something about everything that's gone on since the last time you were posting journal-like stuff.

In my own (occasional) written diary practice, I maybe do something a little like that, sometimes when I've been away a long time.  But not always.

It's not any kind of resolution thing, but maybe I'll figure a way of habitually tossing out a non-postcard post here once a week again.  Cuz it's nice to have the prompt to write, in that whatever-I'm-feeling way, with *some* audience.  My special odd dear LJ [DW] audience.  You.
