continuing wth the egg
Jun. 19th, 2023 01:03 pmToday I went with an Egg NcMuffin (no typo). Any Egg McMuffin--like sandwich I make is an Egg NcMuffin.
I got up "early" again to mow the rest of the yard, like I did yesterday with the first part. (Kept the unmowed circle.) I've been aiming with this long weekend (for me) (we now have Juneteenth off) to shift my sleep schedule a little, and the heat pattern (highs in 80s, lows in 50s) encourages me to get up early to close windows. You know, early as in well before noon, even though it's the weekend.
So now I'm taking a breather before heading out to the library and then MAYBE, if I'm ambitious, installing my new toilet seat. It's ambitious cuz I got one with a bidet thingie. Plus I want to clean the whole area around that toilet and the toilet itself, while I'm at it. The old seat has a crack in it, so I do have some motivation to get right on it. But having the yard okay for the next couple of weeks is an accomplishment.
As is making eggs on two of these weekend days! Eggs for breakfast is a leisurely treat. Wish someone else cleaned the pan later. Suppose I should get one of those As-Seen-on-TV slide-yer-eggs-out nonsticks, maybe in that fetching copper color, but I've not yet. Do need to replace the old omelet pan, which I finally got rid of a while ago. (It had those nice curved edges.) (I think it was Holly's originally.)
So let see how much action an LJ[-style]-poll gets, as you help me figure out an age-old question:
