fflo: (Lu face)
That's the title for a poem I have yet to write.

Things are so much better for me than they were just a few days ago, and for a stretch.  I still fear to hope, but I may always fear to hope.  It's practically inbred.

Heard yesterday that they don't like to replace both knees at once cuzza the total bedrest that leads to, and the consequent dramatic atrophying of leg muscles, which happens quicker than people think.  This made me feel better about mine.  I've got PT lined up, albeit not for a coupla weeks, but with the same person who was so good for me a while back--- apparently 2016, though I'd have guessed it was longer ago than that.  It's hard to keep track of time after a while.  A decade ago was so long ago, but two were really not that long ago.  It gets confusing.

I'm so glad to have so much less pain today.  Up into the air I utter my gratitude, acknowledging how much is beyond my ken, and not even the stuff of ken.
