This Weekend in Self-Care (I guess I'm thinking of
This Week in Baseball) is going to have to involve some work stuff I need to get taken care of, and I don't know how long that's going to take. I also really need to pay bills and go to the grocery store and the pet food store. Reckon I can hold off on doing laundry, though I suppose if I want to take bedding (and backlog) to the laundromat, I probably oughta do that soon, or the virus may keep me from it for another long stretch.
Are you thinking something like "Gee, what do I want to do in stores and other indoor public spaces that I'd better get in?"? I am.
The fun thing I have this weekend is getting my entry in the library's annual LEGO contest ready. I've never participated before, but was inspired this year. Borrowed LEGOs from
peteralway for it. Tomorrow's the deadline. Yesterday I completed principle construction/design, so now it's the finer touches that way + the photographing---it's another remote year, so it's photos and/or video by which to submit entries. If I'd gotten an early start I might've made a schnazzy edited short film with a cool soundtrack, but I'm going to need to do something a little quicker this time.
In larger, ongoing self-care, I oughta make short films. I could really get into that. With a project like editing a short film I can have what seems like endless patience, just wanting to get it right, as I see "right".
That reminds me that I scored that VCR from the free table, and oughta see if it works.
Good self-care to you this weekend!
