It feels good, in a usin'-it kind of physiognomial way.

The solstice fire Friday night seems a long time ago.  As does the decision not to burn the sock.  But both are still with me.

One of my favorite things this weekend was a kid and his stuffed animal, carried by the tip of its tail.  This little human hasn't been walking long.  I wanted a picture to remind me later of seeing him.  Didn't get the perfect shot to capture the wonder (mine), but I did get enough to remind me, and show you.  (Click on any for bigger.)

At the Kroger's the one woman behind the counter was teasingly giving the other woman behind the counter a hard time, saying how she (the first woman) had to (basically) show the other woman how to be good to people, since it just isn't in her nature. I jumped right into their conversation. Why not.

Watched Double Indemnity again, mostly last night.

Sure do like that Edward G. Robinson. And to think, for the longest time he was to me just a caricature from Warner Bros cartoons.

How about this, about Don Draper.

Windows open now for a warm night of sleeping. Humid, and it's not going to get down to 70. Thunderstorms on the way, too.
