One of my interlibrary loan items is in---The politics of cultural mediation: Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven and Felix Paul Greve.  I'm more interested in the other one I requested the same day, though.  That one's Baroness Elsa: gender, dada, and everyday modernity: a cultural biography.  It must be better.  It has one more subtitle than the other one.  Besides, it's about her life, at least ostensibly, as much as it is about theory.

An embarrassment of sorts from my youth was the realization that I was more interested in reading about the lives of many famous writers than I was interested in reading their works.  And I still feel that core impulse, about a lot of artists of various sorts.

A "Where's George?" bill I put in the MR pop machine on February 3rd just turned up in the change from morning coffee somebody got this morning, in Riverview, MI (33 miles away).  It's "in good shape".
