they were playing New Orleans tunes. I was doing a bouncy modified zydeco two-step as I drummed the off-beats, 2 & 1, on the shopping car handlebar. Some guy noticed before I did & was amused. Pretty soon the piped-in tunes switched to Louie's "Do You Know What It Means." Which is a freakin excellent song. I doubled back to Produce for carrots, all tickled.

The heavy, of the pastries & more, had lifted.
