To fix its current budget mess, Michigan passed a bunch of new taxes on services. These include legal stuff, carpet cleaning, massages, and baby shoe bronzing. Yes, Baby shoe bronzing. I thought that one was weird, but I would have been jumping the gun had I concluded it was the oddest one on the list.

They're also taxing PHRENOLOGY.

What is this, 1847?
