Pavarotti died. Just heard it on the BBC World overnight. I'd been thinking of olde England tonight; was watching early Tarzan movies.

The BBC played a clip of Luciano singing with Celine Dion. This is not the equivalent of speaking ill of the dead?

Yeah, bad night for sleeping, all 'round. And I need to rig something to plug the fan in some other way if I want to use it, as little Manifesto discovered the cord, stretched across where I was running it, and was doing his best Tarzan impression with it---with the addition of giving it a good chomp here and there. Anyway, I don't feel like figuring it out this late at night. It may not be worth it in the immediate future, anyway, here in the New Year and all, when the nights are generally getting cooler.
