Memín Pinguín stamps

Came across the controversy surrounding these stamps commemorating Memín Pinguín, a Mexican cartoon character of Charlie Brown proportion, relatively culturally, in this piece, "Even Comics Cannot Escape American Moralizing," from Columbia's El Tiempo, and then this piece from Mexico's El Universal, via WatchingAmerica.com, a groovy site that rounds up news about the U.S. from non-U.S. sources.
