I was in the middle of taking in The Motorcycle Diaries---which tells its story compellingly enough as not to prompt a mind to idle wandering, and which is emotional, yeah, but not in a way that's related in any sense I can ken.

It was body memory---hand memory, if hands don't count as body. But not just the feeling in the palms. It was proximity, and warmth; it was slow, easy eye contact, and slightly away looking, too. At her nose, her face, and the hands in which I held it. And the feeling---not the knowledge---of her looking at me, too.
