Since (the Jeep and) I've been in all 48 contiguous states, I thought I'd use the map to show which states I wouldn't mind living in (albeit some would have to be under particular circumstances or only in certain cities):

States I Wouldn't Mind Living In:

create your own variation on the visited states map

Here, in text, are the states I wouldn't want to live in (since the map page is out a lot):

Alabama
Arizona
Arkansas
Colorado
Connecticut
Delaware
Florida
Georgia
Hawaii
Mississippi
Nebraska
New Mexico
North Dakota
Oklahoma
South Carolina
Tennessee
Utah

got gloves

Went out today on a break and got gloves. Was looking for a pair like the old pair so I could have one color on one hand and one on the other (having lost only one of my bright orange ones during the recent adventure), but no luck. However, I did find a kinda ugly but half-off pair of good, semi-waterproof Thinsulates at Sam's (on Liberty in Ann Arbor) (where the local lesbians got their flannel shirts in the 1970's, according to Gayle Rubin, and where you can still get Chuck Taylors in many colors, if no longer made in the U.S.). I guess it's the right time of year to have to buy gloves.

Ready to use 'em in the continuing snowy cold, through which I'm about to go make my way home.
