Maybe I'll get a picture of our new second mascot (after Bob the dog) here at Math. Reviews: the banded (racing? homing?) pigeon who has come to hang out in our neighborhood. I think this is the third day the fella's been seen on our windowsills and rooftop, and buzzing about the parking lot. What goes on?

Could it be that there's a gathering of pigeons? I know my favorite, pijeanf (yes, it's pronounced "pigeon," not "PIE-Jean," as my gf thought for the longest time) will be arriving in less than 24 hours (if the train's not REAL late).

Pigeons are taking over! At home for lunch today I saw a small throng of pigeons (3 or 4, anyway) win in a dispute with a blue jay (and blue jays are nasty birds) next to our driveway. Came back to work and found that the work pigeon is still hangin' about. Our manager Pam wants it to be named after her, but upsidedownblue has been assuming it's a boy pigeon. Can you tell?
